First of all, I want to say Krystle Jones is a very talented writer. This story held my attention from page one right to the very end. I just had to know what was going to happen chapter after chapter.

The story follows Sloane McAllister, three years after the 'Eclipse' (when vampires became known to the mortal world) on her quest to find her twin brother.

I really liked this book. Krystle has created a dark and compelling dystopian world in 'The Scarlet Dagger'. Sloane is a kick-butt heroine who readers cannot help but love.


I highly recommend this book to anyone with a love of dystopia, urban fantasy and paranormal romance as it blends the best of all three into one amazing story.
