Review - Eurochicks by Ellie Spanos

Eurochicks
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This book was good. It didn't wow me, but it wasn't bad either. It is not the kind of book I normally read but it sounded like it would interest me from the blurb which is why I requested it for review.

This book follows the adventures of best friends Chloe and Gabriella while on a bus tour across Europe.
It is told in third person which kind of bothered me. Also, some of the "wit" was really cliched which bothered me as well.

There wasn't much action. It was more of a "telling" of events. While it was interesting to read about the different places they visited, some parts seemed much too long and detailed.

I preferred the relationship between Chloe and Lucas to Gab and Alex. I liked the buildup of tension between Chloe and Lucas. I keep reading to find out would things ever work out for them.

Some of the side characters were quite enjoyable as well. Carlos was hilarious. I especially loved the part where he and Chloe go dress shopping. I laughed out loud at that part.

Overall, if the blurb sounds like something you would like, I recommend giving it a try!
